DIY Pearl Letter

I found the idea to make this Pearl Letter, on this pinterest post. I thought it looked amazing, and the post directs you to etsy where the lady was selling them. Instead of buying one as they were expensive, I decided to make one myself.

I only bought 2 things and everything else I used, I already had around the house. It was really cheap and simple to make.

I purchased this wooden letter from aliexpress. The link below is from the seller I used, and I had no problem with them. It is 8cm tall, so if you wanted a taller one, you will have to find a different listing. This listing is currently selling these wooden letters for 64p and have all letters available.

I also bought these pearls from aliexpress. The link is the seller that I used and he currently sells them for £2.36 for 1,000 pearls. I got them in the shade Pearl White, but they have different shades. Each set comes with different size pearls and on the listing, it actually says how many of each size you receive. If you are using the same size letter as me, you will not use all of them.

To make this Pearl Letter, you will need:
~ A wooden letter of your choice
~ A bag of pearls of different shapes
~ PVA glue
~ Paintbrush to brush the glue on the letter
~ Tweezers to help transfer the pearls on the letter

Its as simple as sticking the pearls onto the letter. There is no specific order that you have to glue them on in, you can do it anyway you think looks good. I would recommend that you glue a small section, wait for it to dry then do another small section and so on. As I found that if I didn't wait for it to dry, they would move around when I tried to do the next section.

This is the final product, I absolutely love it. It looks great, mine is currently on display on one of my bookshelves in my bedroom.

If you make this, please tag me on instagram or twitter as I would love to see them!

Review and Swatches: MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balm ~ Full Collection

I recently got these Sweet Sheen Lip Balms from MUA, and thought I would do a review of them for you. For a lip balm, they give off an insane amount of colour. I wasn't expecting these to be as pigmented as they are. I was expecting them to be basically sheer, so it was a nice surprise when I first swatched them.

L-R; Peach Dream, Pink Lilly, Coral Reef, French Violet, Cherry Bomb, and Rouge Rumba
Although it has the high pigmentation of a lipstick, these are definitely lip balms. They are insanely moisturising and would seriously recommend these to anyone.

Here are the swatches, these are just one swipe of each colour. My favourites are Peach Dream and Coral Reef. I think they are really wearable shades and most suit my complexion. The only shade that is quite light, is Pink Lilly. Which is expected as it is the lightest shade in the line and is a baby pink. They are all really beautiful shades, and I'm sure i will be getting a lot of use out of these over this summer.

These lip balms are only £2 each and can be found on the MUA website or from Superdrug.
Here is the link for the lip balms from the MUA website.

On the link you can see my latest haul from MUA, where these lip balms are featured.

If you would like me to do any lip swatches of these product, comment below or ask me on any of my social media sites. I would definitely do them.

Try On: Blue Mini Peplum Dress from New Look

This is my second edition of the Try On series. This time, I'm wearing this blue mini peplum dress from New Look which I bought in my Small Haul post.

This dress has a quite revealing neckline, so I won't be wearing this around my family. The top of the dress is quite plain, it is shaped to make your boobs look bigger and to make your waist look thinner. You can see slightly on the picture that the dress has a faint line down the sides of the top of the dress that gives this illusion.

The bottom of this dress, is in a peplum style, which I love. The peplum style is really flattering for bigger girls, as it hides your stomach. However this dress doesn't do this as the peplum is only on the sides and not on the front. I don't like this, as it makes my belly look bigger, so I would probably wear a shapewear waist cincher when I wear this dress.

The dress is quite short, coming about halfway down my thighs. As it is a mini style, I would probably wear this dress out clubbing with my friends rather than to a family event.

I really do like this dress. I absolutely love the colour of the dress, I don't have anything like it in my wardrobe, so definitely love the colour.
